The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November.

Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration.

You will be picked early in the morning from your hotel/airport and you will be transferred to Wilson airport for your short flight to Masai Mara. On arrival, you will be picked from the airstrip and be transferred to your hotel. You will check in, have your lunch and depart for your afternoon game drive.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Basecamp explorer Masai Mara.


Day 2&3: Full day Masai Mara National Reserve. .

You will wake up early in the morning before breakfast to embark on a morning game drive. This time is highly considered as the best time for game drive as the animals both nocturnal and diurnal are most active before the afternoon soon sends them off back to the shades.
After the early morning game drive, you will resume back to the hotel for your hefty breakfast. After that you will leave the hotel with your packed lunch ready for a full day game drive up until sunset.
You will get introduced to this famous Masai Mara reserve which is famously known for the annual wildebeest migration which takes place between the months of July to Late September. If your visit takes place between these months, you will be lucky enough to see the migration.
You will as well drive to the Mara river. This is where the migration takes as the millions of wildebeests as well as the other animals cross the river from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the Mara National reserve in Kenya.
You will have a chance to see the Kenyan Tanzania border as well.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at Basecamp Explorer Masai Mara.



You will embark on a morning game drive (Optional) before loading your luggage to the vehicle ready for a transfer to the airstrip after breakfast to catch your short flight to Nairobi.
On arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your scheduled international flight or at your Nairobi hotel.
This marks the end of your safari with us.
